Pousse is a paid iOS reading app. You buy it once from the App Store. There is no in-app purchase and no subscription.
Account
Sign in with Apple creates your account. We receive an Apple subject identifier and, if you share it, a name. We do not require an email.
Imports and reading
When you import a URL, PDF, note, or text file, that source is processed on the server so we can produce the French reading passage, hold-to-reveal English, and optional X-ray. Those artifacts stay with your account so you can read them on another device.
Fair use
Translation uses a lifetime budget. When it is exhausted, existing passages stay readable and cached X-rays stay available; new imports and new X-rays do not. After you delete your account, we retain a pseudonymous fair-use record keyed by a hash of the Apple subject, not by your name or email, so a later sign-in cannot reset that budget.
Operations
In production, PostHog EU receives five backend events: import started, import finished, import failed, fair-use block, and first sign-in. Each event carries an opaque account id, not an email.
On pousse.page, PostHog EU also receives a page view and, if you use an App Store badge, a badge-click event. These events include the page and referrer, basic browser and device information, network information such as an IP address, and a random identifier kept only in the page's memory. Landing-page analytics do not store a cookie or local-storage identifier, create a person profile, or record the session.
Terms
Use Pousse for your own reading. Do not use it to break the law or to overload the import service. The App Store paid-up-front purchase is the licence to use the app. Deleting your account removes the synced library and server-stored translations; it does not refund or cancel the App Store purchase.
